Surf expected to hold on south-facing shores
Surf along the south-facing shores of Oahu will dip down to 3 to 5 feet today and then bounce back up over the weekend, the National Weather Service said.
Surf along east- and west-facing shores will be 2 to 4 feet today while the north-facing shores will see surf of 2 feet or less, according to the forecast.
Moderate surf will continue along south-facing shores through the work week as the current south swell gradually diminishes and another moderate swell builds today.
Surf may approach the high-surf advisory threshold along south-facing shores this weekend when a new, long-period swell arrives.
