Robotic fun at kids' center

The Children's Discovery Center hosts a robots-focused event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. tomorrow in conjunction with the upcoming film "WALL-E," about a lonely robot who falls in love.

Activities include demos by Palisades and Kanoelani elementary schools, McKinley High and Punahou robotic teams, coloring fun and "Build-a-bot." The first 100 attendees receive a "WALL-E" movie poster.

Admission to the center is $8 general, $6.75 kids 2 to 17, $5 seniors 62 and older, free for keiki under 2 years old. 524-5437.

"WALL-E" opens in theaters June 27.
