The Honolulu Fire Department today rescued three lost male hikers on the Kuli'ou'ou trail in East Honolulu.

HFD spokesman Capt. Robert Main said the men were visitors and none were injured. They placed a cellular call for help shortly before 4 p.m. HFD dispatched its helicopter, a company from the Wailupe station and specialts from the Rescue 1 unit.

All three men were brought out by 4:59 p.m., Main said.
