BLACKBERRY REMOVAL: Remove invasive Himalayan blackberry on the Mau'umae trail, 8 a.m.-3 p.m. June 14. For advanced hikers. Bring at least two quarts of water, lunch, gloves, hat, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, long pants, long-sleeved shirt and sturdy walking shoes. Meet at the Church of the Crossroads. POUHALA MARSH: Help remove invasive species and create habitat for endangered Hawaiian stilts, 8:30-11:30 a.m. June 14 at Hawai'i Nature Center.
