TONIGHT'S MIGHT-SEE

"Celebrity Circus" debut, 8:30 p.m., NBC. In the safe old days of "Circus of the Stars," each person learned one trick and everything was taped. Now comes tougher duty: Each person has a different trick (high wire, "wheel of death," etc.) performed live each week; then viewers vote. Stars range in age from singer Blu Cantrell, 31, to "Brady Bunch" alum Christopher Knight, 50. They range in height from Jason "Wee Man" Acuna, 4-foot-7, to former supermodel Rachel Hunter, 5-foot-11. A front-runner could be swimmer Janet Evans, 36. She has four Olympic gold medals and three records that have lasted about 20 years. Other contestants are actors Stacey Dash and Antonio Sabato Jr.

"Men in Trees," 9 p.m., ABC. A good show has its final episode, with romances wobbling. Jack has misgivings about Marin's big payday. Patrick is desperate to break up Annie and Ivan. And Sam and Jane have a straining road trip.

OF NOTE

"So You Think You Can Dance," 7 p.m., Fox. Last week, we saw more than 200 talented dancers sifted to 20. Now each performs; tomorrow, we'll learn which two are gone.

"The Perfect Storm," 5 and 7:30 p.m., TNT. Wolfgang Peterson directed a perfect mix of big visuals and subtle acting. Based on an epic 1991 storm, this gets great work from George Clooney and Diane Lane.

"Criminal Minds," 8 p.m., CBS. The team is in chaos. Gideon (Mandy Patinkin) is missing, Hotch (Thomas Gibson) wants a transfer, Prentiss (Paget Brewster) resigns.

"CSI: NY," 9 p.m., CBS. Mac tries to stop the killing of a famous musician.
