Portuguese heritage workshop for youngsters

Island youths and their families can explore their Portuguese heritage from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Camp Kokokahi, 45-035 Kane'ohe Bay Drive.

The Rainbow Heritage Workshop includes history, language and culinary experts and an appearance by comedian Frank DeLima.

The workshop is designed for ages 7 to 18, and a guardian or parent must attend to supervise their child.

Registration is required. Cost is $10 per person, and includes lunch and supplies. Adults may participate.
