"Kids Go Green" is an Earth-friendly event at the Hawaii Children's Discovery Center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today.

Youngsters can meet a farmer; consider a variety of worm bins; visit small animals from Olomana Gardens and Zac's Rabbitry; and enter "Recycle City," where they can be energy detectives, among other activities.

Admission is $5 for each person who brings in five or more HI-5¢ recyclable items (no glass or bottle caps); otherwise it's $8 general, $6.75 children. www.discoverycenterhawaii.org.
