Surf: Large south swell is on the wane

Advertiser Staff

Surf along the south-facing shores is on the way down today but should still be running about 3 to 6 feet, the National Weather Service said.

Elsewhere, expect surf of 2 to 4 feet along east-facing shores; 2 feet or less along north-facing shores; and 1 to 3 feet along west-facing shores.

The current south swell will gradually decrease through tomorrow evening as the period steadily declines. A smaller south swell will begin rolling in on Thursday and last through the weekend.
