Weather: Mostly sunny, a few windward showers

A high pressure area north of the state will keep the trade winds blowing at a moderate pace, but the winds will gradually weaken as the new week approaches, the National Weather Service said.

The skies will be generally sunny, although clouds and showers may develop primarily over wind slopes, forecasters said.

Here's how the next few days look at this point:

Today...Mostly sunny. Highs 79 to 87. East winds 15 to 20 mph.

Tonight...Mostly clear with isolated showers. Lows 67 to 75. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Saturday...Sunny. Highs 80 to 88. East winds 15 to 20 mph.

Saturday Night...Partly cloudy with isolated showers. Lows 66 to 76. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Sunday...Mostly sunny with isolated showers. Highs 80 to 87. East winds 15 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
