Man found dead at Diamond Head archery range

Police homicide investigators are looking into the death of a man found at the Kapi'olani Park archery range today.

Bryan Cheplic, spokesman for the city Emergency Services Department, said EMS received a call at 11:45 a.m. about a man approximately 55 years of age who was found at the range, 3937 Paki Ave., at the foot of Diamond Head.

Cheplic said EMS arrived at 11:52 a.m., and the man was pronounced dead at 12:08 p.m.

EMS contacted HPD, which closed off the range.

Police could not immediately provide any more details.
