Hawai'i's Michelle Wie and Kimberly Kim will be paired for the first two rounds of the U.S. Women's Open, which starts Thursday at Interlachen Country Club in Edina, Minn.

Wie, a Punahou alum, and Kim, a former Big Island resident now living in Arizona, will be joined by Julieta Granada of Paraguay.

Wie qualified at a U.S. Open sectional in Maryland earlier this month. Kim has a two-year exemption after winning the U.S. Women's Amateur in 2006.

The trio will tee off at 3:17 a.m. Hawai'i time on Thursday from the first hole and 8:47 a.m. HST Friday from the 10th tee.

Cyd Okino, a Punahou 10th grader, is Hawai'i's other entry in the tournament, winning the Turtle Bay sectional earlier this month. She will tee off at 4:01 a.m. HST Thursday from the 10th tee and 9 a.m. HST Friday from the first tee.
