Wildest Show roars on hump days at zoo

Each Wednesday evening through Aug. 13, the Honolulu Zoo hosts the Starbucks Wildest Show in Town, where music, picnicking and 'ukulele giveaways are accented by the sounds of critters all around.

Next week, Wildest Show features organizer Roy Sakuma and Friends; and a KoAloha Ukulele prize. There are special keiki attractions, too, including a conservation station, a Go Fish booth featuring animal treats, tattoos and a Feed the Animal game.

Each Wednesday also includes a Keiki Koloring Kontest, guided tours for the first 30 attendees and face-painting.

The zoo opens at 4:35 p.m. Wednesdays; entertainment is from 6 p.m. Admission is by $2 donation. 971-7171.
