TONIGHT'S MIGHT-SEES

Daytime Emmy Awards, 7p.m., ABC. There will be plenty of ABC people tonight. Sherri Shepherd ("The View") and Cameron Mathison ("All My Children") host and Regis Philbin gets a lifetime award. Philbin and Shepherd are both up for best talk-show host; he's nominated with Kelly Ripa, she's with the rest of the "View" crew. They face Ellen DeGeneres, who hosts alone.

"Camp Rock," 8 p.m., Disney Channel; repeats at 7 p.m. Saturday, ABC. We haven't seen this one yet, but Disney has a strong track record and likable stars. Joe Jonas plays a star visiting a music camp, with the other Jonas Brothers as his band mates. He's a cocky sort, until he hears a beautiful voice. In the "Cinderella" tradition, she (Demi Lovato) works in the camp kitchen and he can't find her at first. Along the way, pretty people make music in pretty places. This could be pleasant.

OF NOTE

"Planet of the Apes" (2001), 7 p.m., Fox. There was no reason to remake the 1968 classic. Director Tim Burton did make it all seem exciting, however, and Mark Wahlberg is a fine hero. The final twist, alas, deflates what has happened.

"Ghost Whisperer," 7 p.m., CBS. Melinda feels she's being contacted, but can't find the source. Then she sees a message on her husband's back.

"Numb3rs," 8 and 9 p.m., CBS. In the first rerun, murders may be linked to horrific experiments done on prisoners. In the second, the victims might have been lured by promises of sex with underage girls.

"MVP," 9 p.m., ABC. Here's a second chance to catch the start of the show that airs Thursdays on SoapNet. It's a Canadian series about hockey players and the women near them. It's also a lot better than you might expect. Amid the sex, glitter and torsos, there are some solid moments.
