TONIGHT'S MIGHT-SEES

"The Parent Trap" (1998, ABC Family), 8 p.m. or (1961, Hallmark Channel); 5 p.m. This may be the definition of 500-channel overkill: Two versions of the same story air right after another. The story has teen twins, scheming to get their divorced parents together. Audiences will probably lean to the newer one, with Lindsay Lohan playing both girls. Still, the older one (with Hayley Mills) was well-made and didn't need a remake.

"Saturday Night Live," 10:29 p.m., NBC. After the long strike, "SNL" needed to come back strong. It did; Tina Fey brought fresh humor as host and Carrie Underwood was a terrific music guest. Catch this rerun.

OF NOTE

"The Andromeda Strain," Part 1: 3 p.m; Part 2: 5 p.m., repeats at 9 p.m. A&E. In a late change, A&E will rerun this miniseries. It's solidly made, not counting a few excesses near the end. Benjamin Bratt leads scientists in an underground shelter, desperately trying to find a way to stop a deadly, alien virus.

"Camp Rock," 7 p.m., ABC. If you missed this film's Disney Channel debut yesterday, here's a second chance. In a sort of modern "Cinderella," a rock star (Joe Jonas) tries to find the anonymous girl (Demi Lovato) with the beautiful voice. Nick and Kevin Jonas — members of the Jonas Brothers with Joe — play his bandmates here. Expect lots of uptempo music.

Gymnastics, 7 p.m. (tape delay), NBC. Here's the first half of the U.S. women's gymnastics finals, from Philadelphia. The second half will be Sunday.

"NCIS," 7 p.m., CBS. A trap was set, killing two federal agents. Now the team works with another agent to find the killers.
