BUG

TAG NO. 08-11580

An owner-surrender, this large cat is both creamy and dreamy. Just gaze into those beautiful kitty-cat eyes. Bug is initially shy and timid, but warms up quickly and appears to love all the attention and petting he is getting down here at the shelter. Because of his longer coat, Bug will benefit greatly from a daily brush.

OREO

TAG NO. 08-11789

This black-and-white mix is a senior pet who enjoys good health. There is, however, a growth on her hindquarters that may require a biopsy. We can't help but wonder if this sweet animal got her name because she ate too many cookies. She is slightly overweight and should trim down a bit to feel her best. Otherwise, Oreo is an energetic little dog.

BENNY

TAG 08-10845

Benny is the cutest little short-eared bunny, black with white markings and big, brown eyes. This adorable, pint-sized pet really does resemble a Beanie Baby. Benny was an owner surrender on May 20.

These animals may have already found homes. The Hawaiian Humane Society and McInerny Dog Park at 2700 Wai'alae Ave. are open weekdays 11 a.m.-7 p.m., weekends and holidays, 10 a.m.-4 p.m..
