The group meets at the First Unitarian Church, 2500 Pali Highway.

Bloom is a Shin Buddhist priest, scholar and author of several books on Buddhism. His autobiography, "A Life of Serendipity, Blown by the Wind of Amida's Vow" was recently published.

Also on the agenda is "Creating Sustainable Food Systems," a talk by David Santistevan, executive director of Laulima Eco-friendly Alliance of Farms. He'll discuss how the interfaith community can get involved in food security initiatives.
