The event, free to the public, will mark the launch for I Ho'ili Kamali'i, a new projected started by Makana to restore music programs in local schools. I Ho'ili Kamali'i will not only bring back music to campuses but attempt to acquire instruments for students and create opportunities to interact with other musicians of Hawai'i.

Guest musicians are expected at the bash, with Makana and Friends performing from 5 to 8 p.m., followed by DJ Mr. Nick, from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m.
