  • Don't shave your legs before a pedicure. Cracks in your skin can be an entry point for germs.

  • Bring your own tools to the salon, to make sure they're properly sterilized.

  • Regularly sterilize your tools by submerging in a cold sterilizing solution for 24 hours.
