WAI'ANAE
Coach Larry Ginoza to be honored at dinner

The Wai'anae High School Athletic Department will host a dinner and fundraiser on Wednesday at which coach Larry Ginoza will be recognized for his achievements as an educator and his positive influence as as student motivator.

Th event is set for 5 to 9 p.m. at the Ala Moana Hotel, Main Ballroom. Organizers hope to eventually raise $500,000 to build an athletic complex for Wai'anae High School that would include field turf, an all-weather track and a state-of-the-art health and fitness center.

Proceeds from the $100-a-plate event will benefit the naming of the "Larry Ginoza Athletic Complex," a "Larry Ginoza Scholarship" and the Wai'anae High School Athletic Department. Sponsor tables (which include 10 tickets) are available for $5,000, $3,000 and $1,500.
