Best surf along east shores again

Advertiser Staff

Eastern shores are getting the best surf lately, and today is no exception.

The National Weather Service surf forecast calls for surf to be 3 to 5 feet along east shores, 2 to 4 feet along south and west shores and 2 feet or less along north shores.

The first of a series of small south swells is expected to pus surf heights back toward small to moderate levels through next weekend.

Most south facing breaks will be hovering around waist high, with occasional chest to shoulder high sets for the standout breaks this week. No advisory level surf is expected.
