See Marc the Clown perform at 2 libraries

Two public libraries on the Big Island will host a free event in celebration of the Hawai'i State Public Library System Children's Summer Reading Program.

Children of all ages are encouraged to come with a parent or caregiver to see Marc the Clown, who will perform magic tricks, make balloon animals and do face-painting. The event is sponsored by the friends of the Library of Hawaii.

The schedule is as follows:

Honoka'a Public Library: July 8, 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. in the children's area.

Hilo Public Library: July 10, 10 am.-11 a.m. in the children's room.

Call the hosting libraries at 808-775-8881 (Honoka'a) or 808-933-8888 (Hilo) for more information, or if a sign language interpreter or other special accommodation is needed.
