A 25th Infantry Division soldier was found dead at Schofield Barracks yesterday, the Army said.

The soldier was found unconscious and not breathing, the post said in a release. A city and county ambulance responded to the scene where the soldier was pronounced dead.

The Army said the incident is under investigation. The soldier's name is being withheld until next of kin notification.
