MCC begins 'Weekend College' program in fall

Beginning in the fall semester, Maui Community College will offer "Weekend College" to working adults and others who would not otherwise have the opportunity to earn a college degree.

Participants will be able to obtain an associate of arts degree in liberal arts in two to three years by attending Friday evening and Saturday morning classes, according to MCC officials. Weekend College students will go through the program as a group or cohort, taking classes in manageable two- to three-course increments.

Informational sessions on the program are scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Thursday and July 3, 10, 17 and 24 in Ka'a'ike Room 109. For more information or to sign up for a session, call the Maui CC Help Line at 984-3297.
