LIHU'E, Kaua'i — Services for the late Kaua'i Mayor Bryan J. Baptiste will be held Sunday, July 6 at the Kaua'i War Memorial Convention Hall in Lihu'e.

Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. A celebration of his life will immediately follow in the Convention Hall auditorium.

Baptiste died of apparent cardiac arrest at his home Sunday, nine days after undergoing heart bypass surgery. He was 52.

Baptiste was Kaua'i mayor since 2002 and served six years on the county council before that.

Aloha attire is suggested. Delivery of flowers to the Convention Hall should be arranged for after 7 a.m. on Sunday.
