Temporary route changes for TheBus

TheBus has announced the following route changes taking place through Monday.

FRIDAY, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

ROUTES B, CITYEXPRESS! & 2, WAIKIKI-SCHOOL-MIDDLE

Eastbound on N. School Street, east of Likelike Hwy. HECO will be replacing a utility pole just

ewa of the Kapalama Elementary School bus stop. The regular bus stop may need to be

relocated Koko Head of the regular bus stop. Routes B and 2 affected.

FRIDAY-SATURDAY-SUNDAY

The 2nd Annual "Flavors of Honolulu" event is being held at the Frank F. Fasi Municipal

grounds and Honolulu Hale/City Hall area will use most of the Alapai Transit Center parking

lot for event parking.

The event hours are Friday 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Saturday noon to 10 p.m.; and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.

Event parking will not be allowed until after 6:30 p.m., Friday. Routes 11 and

54 should continue their regular routing into the Alapai Transit Center via King Street.

SATURDAY, 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

ROUTE 19, WAIKIKI-AIRPORT-HICKAM

Westbound on Vickers Street prior to 'B' Street

Thurston-Pacific Company will be closing the Vickers Street between 5th Avenue and 3rd

Street, makai-bound.

DETOUR ROUTE: On Vickers Street at 5th Street (between 'D' Street and 'C' Street),

proceed around the "Road Closed/Local Traffic Only" signs, makai on Vickers, left on 'C'

Street, right driveway between the two warehouses, left on 'B' Street, resuming regular route.

SATURDAY, 8 a.m. to noon

ROUTES 4, 55, 56, 57, 57A

Outbound from Downtown: Kama'aina Contractors will be working at 2729 Pali Highway,

mauka-bound, near Moanawai Place, on the Hawaiian Telcom utility pole. The bus stop and

shelter is right next to the pole and will be coned off for the pole work.

MONDAY, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

ROUTE 7, KALIHI VALLEY

Eastbound and westbound on Kamehameha IV Road near Kaewai Elementary School

Site Engineering. Ltd. will be working on the pedestrian overpass near the bus stops. The

bus stops may be relocated.
