Kama'aina can enter the Polynesian Cultural Center for free after 3 p.m. today, Family Day, which celebrates the grand opening of Halau Wa'a O Iosepa (Iosepa canoe house of learning). The Iosepa is an all-wood, double-hulled voyaging canoe, carved and launched in La'ie.

The celebration is topped off with a concert by Willie K, above, at 6 p.m. 293-3333, www.polynesia.com.
