That really, really big book sale kicks off today

Today's the big day for fans of the annual Friends of the Library of Hawai'i book sale at the McKinley High School cafeteria.

Expect stacks of books, a crowd of fellow bargain hunters and even a new music tent full of vinyl, CD and DVDs.

Hours are from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and tomorrow; the sale continues from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. July 5 and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 6.
