Beer shipments to Hawaii down 5.8% in May

Beer shipments to Hawai'i fell by 5.8 percent in May compared to the same month in 2007, according to Beer Institute data reported by Bloomberg News.
The figures show Hawai'i beer shipments totaled 84,000 barrels in May. The decline compared with the national average increase of 0.4 percent for the month.
