Light winds and relatively dry conditions are expected to last throughout the weekend and into the first half of the new week, according to the National Weather Service.

The light winds will result in local daytime sea breezes and nighttime land breezes, forecasters said.

The seabreezes coupled with daytime heating will result in some afternoon clouds and isolated showers.

A more normal trade wind pattern is due to return by Wednesday with scattered showers likely for windward and mauka areas.

Here's a closer look at what to expect during the next few days:

Today: Mostly sunny, with a high near 83. Southwest wind around 5 mph becoming southeast.
