The 31st annual Straub/Kapi'olani Women's 10K gets a running start at 7 a.m. tomorrow at Kapi'olani Park. This year the event strives to raise awareness about ovarian cancer, as race director KC Carlsberg has been battling the disease.

Late entrants ($40) can register at packet pickup, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at Niketown and on race day.

About 1,500 to 2,000 runners, beginners and elite, and walkers are expected to participate.҅
