A service for Viola "Vi" Elizabeth Dolman will be held at 4:30 p.m. March 9 at Holy Nativity Church. Friends may pay their respects 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. before the service. Dolman, a leader in the Hawai'i real estate community for more than 40 years and an active volunteer, died Tuesday at the age of 87.

According to her daughter, Dolman was a strong believer in ethics, which she emphasized to those who worked for her. "Full disclosure was her minimum standard," said Laura Dolman Andrews, "Mom would tell me, 'If there's a flaw in the house, take them to it first.' "

Vi Dolman served as president of the Honolulu Board of Realtors, chaired the Hawai'i chapter of the American Red Cross, and had been a member of the Rotary Club of Honolulu since 1988.

Born in Richmond, Kan., she is survived by a son, David; daughter, Laura Dolman Andrews; brother, James Setter; sister, Marjorie Setter; and five grandchildren.

Diamond Head Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
