Driver's license exams to be discussed

A series of public hearings regarding language changes to rules related to driver license examinations are scheduled, starting today on Kaua'i.

The first of four meetings will be from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Kaua'i Highway District Office, 1720 Haleukana St., Lihu'e.

Other meetings will be:

Maui – Tuesday 9 to 11 a.m., Maui Highway District Office, 650 Palapala Drive, Kahului, Maui.

Big Island – Wednesday, 9 to 11 a.m., Hilo International Airport training room 2nd floor, Hilo, Hawai'i.

O'ahu – Friday, 9 to 11 a.m., Aliiaimoku Hale, 869 Punchbowl St., 5th Floor, Honolulu.

The topic will be proposed amendments to Chapter 19-122, Hawai'i Administrative rules (Department of Transportation): "Rules Relating to the Examination of Applicants for Issuance and Renewal of Motor Vehicle Driver's Licenses and Instruction Permits.
