DCCA asks engineers, others to renew licenses online

The Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs is encouraging the the nearly 8,000 licensed Hawai'i engineers, architects, surveyors and landscape architects to renew their licenses online.

The Web site address for renewals is pvl.ehawaii.gov/renewals. The department is offering a 25 percent credit on the renewal fee and a 10 percent discount on the compliance resolution fund fee for online filers.

EASLA professionals are required by state law to renew their licenses every two years. During the last renewal EASLA cycle in 2006, more than 6,300 licensees, or about 94 percent, renewed their licenses online.

EASLA professionals who prefer to mail in their renewal may call 586-3000 to request an application or they can pick-up an application form in person at: DCCA, Professional and Vocational Licensing Division, 335 Merchant St., Room 301.
