MCCULLY-MO'ILI'ILI
$400,000 will replace library air-conditioning

Advertiser Staff

The governor has released $400,000 to replace the air-conditioning system at McCully-Mo'ili'ili Library.

Design for the project will start this month, and construction is to begin in January 2009.

The work will wrap up in August 2009.

"A fully functional air-conditioning system is essential to the comfort of library patrons and staff," said Gov. Linda Lingle, in a news release. It is unclear whether the library will have to close or reduce its hours during the work.
