Lingle to 'Talk Story' tonight on Turtle Bay proposal

Advertiser Staff

A Public "Talk Story" meeting to discuss the community's ideas about a proposal to purchase and preserve the 850-acre Turtle Bay property, including five miles of pristine coastline on O'ahu's North Shore, will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. tonight at the Kahuku High School cafeteria.

Gov. Linda Lingle, Lt. Gov. James R. "Duke" Aiona Jr. and representatives from several organizations will be available to discuss the proposal.

The "talk story" is designed to continue this productive dialogue and to hear directly from North Shore residents and leaders regarding the community's ideas about the Turtle Bay initiative, a news release from Lingle's office said.
