Electrical power restored in Windward Oahu

Electrical power was restored to 3,600 Windward O'ahu customers at 5:50 p.m. today, according to Hawaiian Electric Co. officials.
HECO spokesman Darren Pai said the cause of the 3:35 p.m. outage is still being investigated. The outage affected lighting in the Pali Tunnel and signal lights at Castle Juction.
The outage extended into Kane'ohe in the area of Castle High School, Pai said.
