Cardiac patients, families invited to support group

Maui Memorial Medical Center will host a Cardiac Education Support Group from noon to 1 p.m. tomorrow in the Marion Hanlon Conference Room on the third floor of the hospital's new Wailuku Tower.

Guest speakers include registered nurse Esther Martin, services manager for HMSA's Care Connection, who will discuss "Self Monitoring of Heart Failure." Also appearing will be Dana Cagen, Maui regional director for the American Heart Association.

Free valet parking is available in the front entrance of the new Kahului Tower.

The Cardiac Support Group holds free meetings for cardiac patients and their family members and friends on the first Wednesday of each month at Maui Memorial Medical Center. For more information, call Michael Rhodes at 243-3043.
