AMERICAN SAVINGS BANK

American Savings Bank has promoted Gabe Lee to executive vice president, commercial markets, and Natalie Taniguchi to executive vice president, enterprise management. Rick Robel has joined the company as executive vice president, operations and technology.

Lee will be responsible for the bank's business customer base, which includes corporate, commercial and business banking as well as cash management, merchant services, international services and private banking.

Taniguchi will oversee eight major functional areas of the bank including enterprise risk, insurance and risk management, enterprise planning, project management, business continuity management, bank regulatory compliance, including bank secrecy act/anti-money laundering compliance, forensic research and analysis, and information security.

Robel will oversee all functions of technology, including consulting, infrastructure, solutions and risk, as well as bank and loan operations, which includes branch operations, the central cash vault, items processing operations, electronic processing operations, corporate services and the customer service center, and the commercial and consumer lending operations service centers.

ROBERTS HAWAII

Roberts Hawaii has promoted Jesse Whittemore to product marketing and sales manager, tours and activities. He will be responsible for developing and implementing an annual marketing plan to increase tours and activities sales through promotions and services. Whittemore joined Roberts Hawaii in August 2003 and brings seven years of travel industry and hospitality experience to the company.

HAWAI'I THEATRE CENTER

Hawai'i Theatre Center has named Sara Grove assistant box office manager. Formerly the box office/tour manager for Honolulu Theatre for Youth, Grove joined Hawai'i Theatre Center last October as a part-time member of the box office staff. She brings more than seven years of theater experience and box office management to the organization.

PCL CONSTRUCTION SERVICES INC.

The Hawaii District of PCL Construction Services Inc. has announced two promotions. Rick Crago has been promoted from senior project manager to construction manager. He will be in charge of several major projects for the Hawai'i district.

George Burkards has been promoted from senior project manager to construction manager. He is currently senior project manager for the Residences and Ritz-Carlton Club at Kapalua Bay. He will continue as the senior person on the project.

AIRMED HAWAII

AirMed Hawaii, Hawai'i's only accredited air ambulance service, has announced the promotion of registered nurse Geraldine Robles to lead clinical educator. She will be responsible for designing and conducting monthly in-services on new policies, equipment and clinical situations for AirMed's team of paramedics and registered nurses. She will also continue to teach medical professionals at AirMed's quarterly training sessions at the University of Hawai'i's School of Medicine and at hospitals throughout Hawai'i.
