TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE

"Project Runway," 8 p.m. Bravo, reruns at 9; marathon of previous hours starts at 7 a.m. Last week's episode (rerunning at 9 p.m.) saw the four finalists reaching Fashion Week. The oldest is Chris, 44 and self-taught. He does costumes for everyone from Madonna to Cirque du Soleil. The youngest is Christian, 21. He's been designing since 13 and has worked in Europe. In between is Jillian, 26. When she was in college, she won a chance to design the "Perrier Girl" costumes. And Rami, 31. He grew up in Jerusalem and was designing as a boy. He moved to the U.S. after high school and has designed for Jessica Alba, Fergie, Tyra Banks and more.

"American Idol," 7 p.m., Fox. The women sing tonight, with a shot at being in the group that people remember. Two men and two women will be ousted tomorrow. That leaves the final 12, which start leaving one per week.

OF NOTE

"America's Next Top Model," 7 p.m., CW/KHON, digital 93. Catch this one right before "Project Runway," creating an all-fashion night. Tonight, the women get makeovers and try lingerie from Elle Macpherson's line.

"Wife Swap" "Big Brother" "Deal or No Deal" (NBC), all 7 p.m. Add the others and the five networks offer four reality shows and a quiz show. How's that for counter-programming?

"Law & Order: Criminal Intent," 8 p.m., NBC. The body of a deep-sea diver washes ashore. Goren and Eames try to determine if this was a terrorist, a treasure-hunter or both.

"In Treatment," 7:30 p.m., HBO. Last week (rerunning at 7), Sophie the teen gymnast was enraged that her mom came with to see Paul, the therapist. Now she's alone again, probing deeply into her troubles.

"Law & Order," 9 p.m., NBC. Don't tell Paul (from "In Treatment"), but tonight's murder victim is a psychiatrist; suspects include his patients and his wife, played by Moira Kelly.

"Men in Trees," 9 p.m., ABC. The Coast Guard has called off its search, with Jack still missing. Marin is stunned.

CSI: NY," 9 p.m., CBS. In this rerun, two murder victims (a man and a woman) were accused sexual predators who had been acquitted.
