Advertiser Staff

Robert Barclay, author of "Melal: A Novel of the Pacific," is scheduled to speak at the 'Aiea Public Library's Book Club meeting at 7 p.m. tomorrow.

The library describes the story, set in the Marshall Islands, as about a father and his two sons dealing with a "complicated inheritance" involving years of atomic testing on Kwajalein and continued U.S. military presence in the Pacific.

Admission to the one-hour program, sponsored by the Friends of Aiea Library, is free. The program is suitable for ages 16 years and above.

'Aiea Public Library is at 99-143 Moanalua Road. For more information, call the library at 483-7333.
