At 9:45 a.m. Friday, a tsunami school-evacuation drill will take place in Kekaha involving four schools and 550 students and supported by local businesses and government offices.

Officials of the Pacific Missile Range Facility, Air National Guard, Marine Corps League, police, fire department, Kaua'i civil defense, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration will monitor the drill and will meet on Monday to offer feedback.

NOAA is providing educational activity fliers to the students and an informational packet for the schools.
