Surf on Oahu's north, west shores on the way down

Advertiser Staff

Surf along O'ahu's north and west shores is expected to drop a bit today, according to the National Weather Service.

Wave faces along north-facing shores will diminish today to about 6 feet to 10 feet, forecasters said.

Surf along west-facing shores is expected to decrease to about 3 feet to 6 feet.

South- and east-facing shores will likely see surf of 1 foot to 3 feet today.

The current moderate northwest swell will gradually subside through the weekend. Another moderate northwest swell is expected on Monday. A small south swell is expected Tuesday.
