An alleged stabbing has sent one man to The Queen's Medical Center and has police searching for a suspect armed with a knife and possibly a rifle this morning.

Police received the call of a man being stabbed shortly after 1 a.m. near Farrington Highway in the Nanakuli Housing area.

The victim, a 31-year-old man, is in stable condition.

The suspect was last seen still in the Wai'anae area, but his description has not been released.
