UH's Robinson shuts down E. Kentucky in softball, 1-0

Kate Robinson pitched a four-hitter, and Kaulana Gould singled in Tanisha Milca to give Hawai'i a 1-0 victory over Eastern Kentucky today in the Pepsi Malihini Kipa Aloha Tournament at Rainbow Wahine Softball Stadium.

The Rainbow Wahine (17-5) are scheduled to play Washington in the tournament title game this afternoon. Eastern Kentucky is 10-8.

Robinson struck out six and walked three for the complete-game victory.

In the sixth inning, Milca led off with a single to shortstop. She went to second on a sacrifice bunt by Clare Warwick. Gould singled to right-center field to drive in Milca.
