Kalihi man facing federal gun, drug charges

A Kalihi man is being held at the Honolulu Police Department headquarters station cellblock tonight for federal agents on firearm and drug offenses.

Romerick D. Tabuyo, 30, of a Gulick Avenue address is being held for the U.S. Marshals Service for possession of an unlicensed and loaded firearm. and third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug, police said.

According to Hawai'i Criminal Justice Data Center records, Tabuyo has 10 prior convictions which include first-degree terroristic threatening and third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug dating back to 1996.
