Those bringing in recyclable cans will be given a discount on admission at the Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park on Sunday.

The Go Green event will also feature entertainment and prizes from Cox Radio and the chance for local schools to win up to $1,000 in cash.

Guests will receive $7 off an adult or $5 off a child admission to the park for bringing 10 to 19 cans; $10 off an adult or $6 off a child admission for 20-49 cans; and half-off adult or child admission for 50 or more cans.

Sunday's program is being co-sponsored by Reynolds Recycling, which will have a truck on site.

Schools have been invited to take part and the two schools with the most cans will receive $1,000 and $500, respectively.

Individuals can designate their cans to a school that has pre-registered.
