Trade wind weather expected rest of the week

Trade wind weather is expected to hang around through the remainder of the week as a high-pressure area remains to the northeast of the Islands, according to the National Weather Service

Trade wind showers will fall primarily over windward and mauka areas, forecasters said.

Here's a closer look at what to expect the next few days:

Today: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a high near 79. East wind around 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

Tonight: Scattered showers, mainly after midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 68. East wind around 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.

Friday: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a high near 79. East wind around 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

Friday night: Scattered showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 68. East wind around 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.

Saturday: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a high near 80. East wind around 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

Saturday night: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 68. East wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
