Diane Jarvi, singer/songwriter/guitarist/kantele player, makes her debut at Hawaii Public Radio's Atherton Performing Arts Studio at 7:30 p.m. today.

Jarvi specializes in folk and world sounds, including tangos, waltzes, ballads, swing and cabaret songs of Finland, France, Germany, Brazil, Mexico and the U.S. What's a kantele, you ask? It's a traditional Finnish folk harp.

Admission is $20 general, $17.50 HPR members, $10 students. 955-8821.
