ZipperLane deploying early for roadwork

The H-1 ZipperLane will be deployed earlier than normal beginning at 5 p.m. today for overnight roadwork in the westbound direction between Kunia Road and Paiwa Street. The early deployment of the ZipperLane will separate construction areas from freeway traffic. The ZipperLane will then open to morning rush-hour traffic on its normal schedule at 5:30 a.m. on Monday morning.

The early deployment of the ZipperLane will separate construction areas from freeway traffic as part of a pavement resurfacing project from Waipahu to Waikele and allow workcrews adequate time to complete scheduled tasks.

Work hours will be between 9 p.m. and 4:30 a.m.

The ZipperLane will then open to morning rush-hour traffic on its normal schedule at 5:30 a.m. on Monday morning.
