Diamond Head Theatre has added two performances — at 8 p.m. April 12 and 4 p.m. April 13 — even before its latest musical, "Flower Drum Song," opens its regular run tomorrow.

Demand for tickets prompted the additional dates. The show originally was to run through April 6.

The production, an adaptation by David Henry Hwang, features the classic Rodgers & Hammerstein music.

Autumn Ogawa stars as Mei-Li, with Brad Mezurashi as Ta.

Greg Zane, a former resident who now is based in New York, is guest director and choreographer.
